In the “Rezerv+” application, an updated military registration document (MRD) with a photo and a secure QR code is being introduced, which will become mandatory within a week. According to the Ministry of Defence, any changes in personal data will automatically invalidate the document, and the military and TCC (Territorial Recruitment Centers) will verify its validity exclusively in the new format.
From December 8, the photo of the person liable for military service is displayed in the “Rezerv+” application. The new format of the military registration document will become mandatory. This was announced by the head of the Main Department of Information Technologies of the Ministry of Defence, Oleg Berestovy, during the Digital Defence Forum.
Within a few days, photos of persons liable for military service should appear in the MRD. If the photo has not been pulled up yet, it will be possible to obtain it.
It is important that within a week this military registration document in such a format will be mandatory for everyone. It will be in a unified form with a QR code that cannot be forged.
Servicemen or TCC employees will be able to check its relevance exclusively in the new format with a QR code.
Also, Oleg Berestovy emphasized that any changes in the data will make the document invalid.
